A nutritionist-reviewed pharmacy catalogue for India
Newlife Hospital Pharmacy is a curated affiliate catalogue of FSSAI-notified nutraceuticals and food-for-special-dietary-use products. We do not sell prescription medicines. Every supplement on this catalogue is reviewed by a Senior Clinical Nutritionist before listing — and every product page is written with the discipline we use in clinical nutrition counselling: state what is known, qualify what is not, and never imply a supplement can treat or cure a disease.
What we are — and what we are not
We are an affiliate catalogue. When you place an order, the order is fulfilled directly by the manufacturer's authorised India distribution chain. We do not warehouse stock, we do not repack, and we do not handle prescription medicines. The brands listed on this catalogue are responsible for FSSAI compliance of their products — we verify that each brand has a valid FSSAI nutraceutical notification before we list any product from them.
We are not a pharmacy in the regulatory sense of Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940 — for prescription medicines, please use a licensed retail or online pharmacy registered under the Drugs and Cosmetics Rules. We are not a substitute for medical consultation — for any active medical condition, please consult a registered medical practitioner.
Why we built this
The Indian nutraceutical market grew from approximately ₹19,000 crore in 2019 to over ₹50,000 crore in 2024. Hundreds of new brands appear every year, and not all of them treat dosing or labelling with the rigour we use in hospital nutrition counselling. We built Newlife Hospital Pharmacy because an evidence-led, nutritionist-curated catalogue did not exist for Indian consumers — and because we believe the average buyer deserves the same shortlisting discipline we apply when counselling a hospital patient on supplementation.
How we choose what to list
Each product passes a four-stage review: ingredient honesty, dosage rationale, consumer-claim compliance, and prescription-interaction flagging. The review is performed by Ms. Kalpana Gupta, our Senior Clinical Nutritionist consultant. Products that depend on therapeutic disease claims (which an FSSAI nutraceutical cannot legally make), products with sub-clinical dosing hidden in proprietary blends, and products without published mechanism data for their active ingredients are rejected.
For each listed product, we also link to four major India pharmacy chains (Apollo Pharmacy, Tata 1mg, Netmeds, PharmEasy) with an honest assessment of whether that chain typically stocks the product, so buyers can comparison-shop with full information.
Our team & operations
Newlife Hospital Pharmacy operates from a back-office in New Delhi. Our nutritional content review is performed by Ms. Kalpana Gupta, M.Sc. Nutrition, who has 15+ years of hospital practice at Max Healthcare, Saket. Our customer support team is staffed by trained nutrition coordinators who can answer general supplementation questions and flag known prescription interactions — we cannot, however, provide personalised medical consultation.
Cash on Delivery & Indian payment options
Cash on Delivery (COD) remains the preferred payment method for over 60% of e-commerce purchases in Tier-2 and Tier-3 Indian cities. We offer COD on every product in our catalogue, with no additional fee for orders above ₹999. For online prepaid payments, we accept UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM), credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, RuPay), debit cards, and net banking. Prepaid orders typically receive a 2% discount, which is applied automatically at checkout.
